An investigation is under way after 20 Tesla cars were damaged in an act of vandalism at a Belfast car showroom.

The vehicles were attacked on a forecourt at the business on the city's Boucher Road.

The damage was discovered yesterday.

Police said the attack had been carried out sometime in the 24 hours since Saturday afternoon.

"Approximately 20 vehicles have been targeted," the PSNI said in a statement.

"Most have had their wing mirrors knocked off, while others have also had windows smashed or received dents to the bodywork."

He said an investigation was under way and asked anyone with information or footage to contact the police.
