A pedestrian has died after being struck by a car in Co Down in the early hours of this morning.
The PSNI have named him as 35-year-old Alex O'Connor.
Police were called to the collision on the Upper Gransha Road in Bangor at around 1.50am.
The road has since reopened and the police are appealing for witnesses.
They said: "We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed what happened or who has CCTV, dash-cam or other footage which could assist with enquiries, to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 81 11/01/25."
