Two people have been arrested after a man was injured in a stabbing incident in Co Down on Tuesday.
A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence after a man received multiple stab wounds at a property in the Breezemount Close area of Conlig.
Police also arrested a 34-year-old woman on suspicion of assisting offenders.
The two suspects were arrested at an address in Bangor yesterday and remain in police custody.
Police said a man was taken to hospital with injuries which were not believed to be life threatening following the stabbing incident.
They said investigations are ongoing.
