Police have urged drivers to take extra caution over the Christmas period following another road fatality earlier where a lorry driver was killed.

Earlier, a man in his 40s was killed in another single-vehicle crash involving a lorry in Beragh, Co Tyrone, yesterday morning.

The lorry driver was pronounced dead at the scene after the crash in the Moylagh Road area shortly after 7.50am.

Detectives investigating the circumstances of both incidents have appealed to anyone with information about what happened, or dashcam footage, to contact them.
