The 40-year-old was found unconscious in her home on Saturday evening and was pronounced dead a short time later.

It is understood the mother-of-two died as the result of a gunshot wound.

Both are charged with murdering Ms Cummings, with Mr McGuigan also charged with possession of a double barrelled shotgun and ammunition and handling stolen goods.

A PSNI Detective Constable told the court he could connect both men to the charges, and they each confirmed that they understood those charges.

There were no applications for bail and they were remanded in custody to appear in court again by video link on 9 January.
