A man has been arrested by the PSNI as part of an investigation by Miami police into an alleged incident during Armagh GAA's recent trip to the United States.
The man was detained on suspicion of sexual assault and causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent.
He has since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Players, the management team, family members and senior figures from the Armagh County Board are understood to have spent a week in Miami last month to celebrate the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship win over Galway earlier this year.
The complaint is believed to have been made by one of those who travelled to Florida.
A statement from solicitor Patrick Higgins, of Donnelly and Wall Solicitors, said: "My client voluntarily presented himself to the PSNI yesterday to be interviewed.
"He co-operated fully with the PSNI in the initial stages of the investigation.
"He is innocent of all charges and vows to do everything in his power to clear his name."
