A 74-year-old man is in a critical condition in hospital after an assault in Co Antrim.
He was punched in the head at Station Street at around 7.30pm last night, knocking him unconscious.
Two people, a 21-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman have been arrested by police on suspicion of attempted murder.
The pensioner was taken to hospital for treatment to serious head injuries.
He remains in a critical condition.
Anyone who was in the area and who witnessed the incident or captured dash-cam or CCTV footage which could assist with police enquiries is asked to contact detectives in Antrim.
