Three people have been arrested on suspicion of murder following an incident in Lurgan, Co Armagh.
Police are examining a car on the edge of a housing estate in the Edward Street area.
Two women, aged 35 and 43, and a 31-year-old man have been arrested.
Police are appealing to any witnesses who were in the Edward Street or Francis Street areas between 2am and 5am this morning to contact them.
Police have not yet identified whether the victim was a man or a woman.
Upper Bann MP Carla Lockhart said earlier that police were dealing with a "very serious incident".
"Police are dealing with a very serious incident in the Edward Street area of Lurgan in which there has been a sudden death," she said.
"Edward Street is closed from Hill Street to Sloan Street. The area of Beech Court/Maple Court is also impacted.
"Please avoid speculation and allow for Police to carry out their investigations."
