A man in his 20s is in a serious condition after an acid attack in Belfast.
It happened at Sunwich Street in the east of the city around 6.30pm last night.
Police are investigating a motive.
The victim, who was driving, was followed by a group of people in another car.
When he stopped his vehicle a number of people got out of the other car and assaulted him.
He also had what police believe was corrosive liquid throw over him.
He was taken to hospital for treatment to burns to his upper body and face and is in a serious condition.
Police are appealing for anyone with information or dash cam footage to contact them.
