A number of homes in Culloville, Co Armagh, were evacuated following the discovery of "suspected historic munitions".
However, residents have since been allowed to return to their homes.
Ammunition Technical Officers deemed the objects as being "nothing untoward".
The PSNI thanked the residents for their cooperation.
