Irish forklift company Combilift has cut all ties with Russia and has ceased all production and sales of its equipment to the country.
It has also ended all production and sales to Belarus and has suspended the employment of its sole employee based in Russia.
The company said it was a tough decision to make but as the situation in Ukraine worsens, the company is deeply concerned for their safety and wellbeing.
It has pledged €50,000 to the Ukrainian Red Cross to help in the relief efforts.
The Monaghan-based company which manufactures construction machinery, including forklifts and straddle carriers, was founded over 20 years ago and employs over 550 people.
