A woman in her late 20s has died following a road incident in Donegal this afternoon.
The woman was seriously injured after she was struck by a car after having fallen from a moving bus she was a passenger on, at Ardnawark, Barnesmore Gap in Donegal town at around 3.45pm.
She was airlifted by helicopter to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin, where she died this evening.
Gardaí have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them at Donegal Town Garda Station on 074 9740190
They have also appealed for any road users who were travelling in the townland of Ardnawark this afternoon and who may have camera footage to make it available to them.
