An 11-year-old boy has died in a Belfast hospital after he was struck by a van in Co Donegal on Friday.
The boy was seriously injured when he was struck by the van on Slavery Road, Tullarvan near Buncrana, at around 5.30pm on 21 February.
He was treated at the scene before being taken to Altnagelvin Hospital in Derry.
He was transferred to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast yesterday morning, but died there this evening.
The driver of the van was not injured in the incident.
