88-year-old man dies following Coleraine road collision

An 88-year-old man who was involved in a road collision in Northern Ireland earlier this week has died.

The man, who was from the Ballymoney area, was seriously injured when his car collided with a digger on the Quilly Road between Articlave and Coleraine on Monday night last.

He died in hospital yesterday.

The PSNI has appealed for information about the collision.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact officers in Coleraine.
