A man is in a critical condition following an incident in Co Monaghan in the early hours of this morning.
Gardaí are investigating how the man received his injuries and have appealed for information.
It is believed the man had attended a party following last night's fight involving Conor McGregor.
Gardaí were alerted by ambulance control, who attended a house near Castleblayney at around 9.30am.
The man is in a critical condition in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.
