A 77-year-old man arrested in Co Antrim in relation to the murder of a politician from the Seychelles in London over 30 years ago has been released.
Gérard Hoarau, an opposition party leader in the Seychelles, was shot dead at his home on the Edgware Road in London on 29 November 1985.
The suspect from Co Antrim was arrested by officers from London's Metropolitian Police's counter-terrorism command who were assisted by the PSNI.
He was taken to a police station in London for questioning on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.
The man, who had not previously been arrested as part of the investigation, has been released pending further investigation.
Several individuals were previously arrested in connection with the assassination, but no charges followed.
