A man in his 50s has died following a house fire in Ballyjamesduff, Co Cavan.
The blaze occurred in the Derrylurgan area at around 3am.
Gardaí have said the casue of the fire is not yet known.
A technical examination of the scene is due to be carried out.
Gardaí have said the results of this will determine the course of their investigation.
