Herbal cannabis worth an estimated €70,000 has been seized in Co Monaghan.
A house was searched as part of an investigation into the importation of drugs in the Castleblayney area a house.
A package was discovered by Revenue customs officers which contained approximately 3.5 kg of herbal cannabis.
A 45-year-old man was arrested at the scene by gardaí and he was due to appear before Virginia District Court this afternoon.
