Educational company Pearson plc is creating 300 jobs in Belfast.
The London-based firm is establishing a new financial services and information management centre.
It says the new roles in Belfast will offer a range of opportunities for accountants and analysts, aimed at graduates and those in the early stages of their careers.
In a statement, Pearson said the jobs are expected to come on stream "in the coming years".
Chief Executive of Invest Northern Ireland Alastair Hamilton said the establishment of the new centre "has already created new employment opportunities and will continue to drive job creation in Northern Ireland over the next few years.
"Pearson is the largest education company in the world, and this project represents a significant investment into the Northern Ireland economy, secured with our support."
The company has been offered nearly £2m of support from the Department for the Economy and Invest NI to help secure the project.
