A Liverpool fan who suffered life-changing injuries in the Hillsborough disaster has died aged 55.
Andrew Devine was among hundreds of people injured during the FA Cup semi-final on 15 April 1989.
The incident saw 96 men, women and children die in a crush on the Leppings Lane terraces at Sheffield Wednesday's Hillsborough stadium after going to see Liverpool play Nottingham Forest.
In a statement, Mr Devine's family welcomed the conclusion of Coroner Andre Rebellos, made today at Liverpool Coroner's Court, that he was unlawfully killed, "making him the 97th fatality of the tragic events that occurred on April 15, 1989".
The family said: "Our collective devastation is overwhelming but so too is the realisation that we were blessed to have had Andrew with us for 32 years since the Hillsborough tragedy."
In a statement, Liverpool FC said Mr Devine continued to attend matches at Anfield whenever possible and "in doing so he defied expectations that he would not survive for six months after the tragedy".
