Lucy Letby, 30, was arrested for a third time on Tuesday as part of the investigation into the Countess of Chester Hospital, which began in 2017.
Ms Letby, of Arran Avenue, Hereford, faces eight counts of murder and ten charges of attempted murder relating to the period of June 2015 to June 2016.
The eight counts of murder of a victim under one-year-old include children named on the court list as Cemlyn Bennett, Joseph Johnson, Elsie McNall, Barney Gee, Daisy Parkin, Maddie Freed, Joseph Gelder and Eli Gelder.
The ten charges of attempted murder are each of potential victims under one-year-old, one count of which includes baby Maddie, according to the court list.
Ms Letby was remanded in custody after appearing via videolink during a short hearing at Warrington Magistrates' Court.
She will appear at Chester Crown Court for a further hearing tomorrow afternoon.
