A man has been arrested in connection with the investigation into the deaths of 39 migrants in a refrigerated lorry.

The 42-year-old, from Tottenham, was arrested in Londony, Essex Police said.

He is being held on suspicion of conspiracy to facilitate the entry of non-EU citizens into the UK, police said.

The 39 Vietnamese nationals were found in a lorry container parked on an industrial estate in Grays, Essex.

Ten teenagers, including two 15-year-old boys, were among those found dead in the lorry in the early hours of 23 October last year.
