New Dáil, new Government

With two days to go before the opening of the 31st Dáil, we're reversing the way we do things tonight by putting TDs in the audience seats and members of the public on the panel asking questions and giving their reactions to the prospect of a new Dáil and a new Government.

To reflect the enormous change that the General Election brought about, all of the TDs will be brand new to the Dáil - even though one or two will be familiar faces none of them has ever sat a day in the Dáil previously so it will be interesting to see whether they have any new answers on political reform, emigration, jobs and dealing with the EU/IMF.

All of the parties will be represented and there will be one or two independents as well - also DCU economist Tony Foley and the Irish Times Michael O'Regan will be on hand to fact-check and give us their expertise.

If you have anything to say you can post a comment below or email thefrontline@rte.ie
