Two hospitals highlighted over superbug compliance
The health watchdog has found that Kilcreene Regional Orthopaedic Hospital in Kilkenny, and the Midland Regional Hospital, Portlaoise, were not compliant with national screening guidelines, to protect against a serious bacterial infection called CPE.
