Ireland's national emblem is based on the Brian Boru Harp, also known as the Trinity Harp, which is on display in Trinity College Dublin's Long Room.

According to legend, Brian Boru played the harp the night before the Battle of Clontarf in 1014.

However, in reality, the instrument is dated to be 14th or 15th Century, a few centuries after Brian Boru's time.

The interactivity works best on modern browsers such as Chrome, Safari, Firefox and IE11 on desktop and tablet.

The format is compatible with most Android smartphones but will play without interactivity on iPhones.
