Peanut, who is thought to be a Chihuahua-Shitzu mix, has won The World's Ugliest Dog Competition in Petaluma, California.

According to his owner, Holly Chandler, he was rescued after he was burned as a puppy, which has left his lips and eyelids deformed.

He no longer has hair on much of his body including his tail, legs, feet, and face.

He has helped raise awareness for Animal Cruelty.

The World's Ugliest Dog Competition is an annual event at the Sonoma-Marin Fair and attracts entrants from across America.

The owner wins $1,500 and a trophy.
