A Californian woman with a video camera caught a dramatic rescue in her own garage.
Judy Coover saw a baby bear stuck in her garage after the automatic door had gone down.
The cub climbed up the track of the garage door and called for his mother.
Ms Coover tried to help free the cub by putting the door up a bit, but the baby just held on and yelled.
Finally, the mother bear went to the garage, pulled up the door and called the cub.
The cub got a foothold on a ladder propped against the wall and was able to climb down and run away.
