An online poll has been launched to select the logo for Ireland's presidency of the European Union in the first half of 2013.
People are asked to log on to www.eu2013.ie and choose between four designs: connections, wave, spirals and logotype.
The four logos were designed by the Red Dog Design Company.
The poll will end at 5pm on 31 December and the winning design will be announced in early in 2012.
It will be the seventh time that Ireland has hosted the Presidency of the EU in its 40-year membership of the union.
The campaign was launched by Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs Eamon Gilmore and Minister of State for European Affairs Lucinda Creighton.
Mr Gilmore said: "Now, more than ever, it is important that we present a strong signal to our EU partners about Ireland's ability to manage the agenda of the EU.
"So, in planning the look and feel of the Presidency, I want to open up the process to everyone in selecting the logo for the Presidency, which will be the starting point for how the Presidency will present itself to all of the other member states."
