A man in his 50s has died following a road collision in Co Sligo.
The man's motorcycle collided with a lorry at Rusheen in the Riverstown area at around 9.20am this morning.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to the mortuary at Sligo University Hospital.
The lorry driver was taken to Sligo University Hospital as a precaution.
Gardaí say the road remains closed and they are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Anyone with camera footage on the L1303 at Rusheen between 9am and 9.30am is asked to make it available to investigating gardaí.
