An investigation is under way after the robbery of a sum of cash from an ATM in Co Monaghan overnight.
The independently owned machine stationed at the former Ulster Bank building at The Diamond in Clones was targeted just before 2am.
A steel security door next to the ATM is understood to have been wrenched open.
The machine itself was left intact but an undisclosed sum of money was stolen.
The scene was preserved and a technical examination has been carried out.
Gardaí have appealed to anyone who may have information in relation to the incident to contact them.
They particularly want to speak to any road users or pedestrians who were in the general area of The Diamond between 1.15am and 2.15am this morning, and who may have dash-cam footage.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Monaghan Garda Station on 047 77200, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
