Gardaí are appealing for information in relation to an incident of dangerous driving which involved a garda pursuit in Co Laois last weekend.
They said the incident involved a black Seat Ibiza which travelled at speed from Rathdowney to Donaghmore and then on to Ballyquaid.
It happened between 2:15pm and 2:35pm last Saturday.
The car became involved in a pursuit with gardaí from Shanboe to Ballybrophy, before returning through Donaghmore and colliding with another vehicle at Grantstown.
Following the collision, gardaí said the occupants fled across fields.
Three people were arrested shortly afterwards.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses along the route to come forward and are asking anyone who may have dash-cam footage or CCTV footage along the route to contact them.
