A man has died after obtaining injuries during a four-vehicle crash in Co Kilkenny last month.

The incident took place at around 8.55am on Tuesday 29 March at Knockreagh, Callan in Co Kilkenny.

The man, who was in his 60s, was the diver of one of the vehicles. He taken to Cork University Hospital with serious injuries, but passed away earlier today.

A teenage boy who was in the same vehicle was taken to Waterford University Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

There were no other injuries reported.

Gardaí are now appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.

They are also appealing for any road users who may have camera footage from the Knockreagh area of Callan between 8.30am and 9.10am on Tuesday, 29 March, to make this footage available to them.
