A man in his early 30s has been arrested after two garda vehicles were set on fire at Dundalk Garda Station in the early hours of this morning.
The incident happened outside the station at around 2.30am.
A technical examination has been carried out and the cars have been removed from the scene.
No injuries were reported following the incident.
The man was arrested earlier this afternoon and is being detained at Dundalk Garda Station.
Gardaí said the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
