Fuel talk meeting ends, to resume tomorrow
A meeting between the Government and representative bodies affected by high fuel costs has concluded this evening without a resolution, with talks to resume tomorrow.
There was no new offer from ministers of further fuel reliefs.
A further meeting will take place tomorrow between the Irish Road Haulage Association and Minister for Transport Darragh O'Brien and also between the IFA and ICMSA and the Minister for Agriculture.
Tonight's talks did not include a representative of the nationwide fuel protests.
Christopher Duffy, a spokesman for a protest blocking Dublin's city centre, has said the action was likely to continue overnight.
