    Over 350,000 ESB customers without power

    ESB Networks says the number of customers without power has reduced to just over 350,000.

    At the peak of the outages following Storm Éowyn, there were 768,000 homes, farms and businesses left in the dark.

    As of 8.45pm tonight, ESB Networks said power had been restored to 415,000 of its customers.

    The numbers without electricity stood at around 353,000 across the country, with the efforts continuing to repair the damage to the network.
