Results of the first count which had a a quota of 9846:
Results of the first count in Cork North Central have been announced but with no candidate reaching the quota, no one has yet been elected.
The quota is 9,846.
Fianna Fáil's Pádraig O'Sullivan is out in front with 7,708 votes. He is followed by Sinn Féin's Thomas Gould who has 7,399 votes.
Next is Colm Burke from Fine Gael with 5,736 votes, with Ken O'Flynn of Independent Ireland just three votes behind on 5,733.
Fianna Fáil's Tony Fitzgerald has 4,084 votes, while Mick Barry of People Before Profit Solidarity on 3,494.
The four lowest ranking candidates will now be excluded and their votes distributed.
