Dublin Central remains a four-seat constituency with no area transfers in or out.

It is the only Dublin constituency to remain completely unchanged since the last review.

Comprising parts of the North Inner City as well as the traditional working-class neighbourhoods of North Strand and Ballybough, it also contains more gentrified areas including Stoneybatter and the leafy suburbs of Drumcondra and Glasnevin.

As you would expect with sections of the city centre, the constituency is ethnically diverse and has a greater mix of socio-economic groups than some other constituencies.
