820 allegations recorded against 303 people
Almost two and a half thousand allegations of sexual abuse were recorded across 300 day or boarding schools run by 42 religious orders.
The Scoping Inquiry ultimately identified and contacted a total of 81 religious orders believed to have run day or boarding schools in the State between 1927 to 2013
Of that number 8 orders said they had never run a day or boarding school, leaving 73 remaining religious orders
In the report to be published today, it will show there were 820 allegations recorded against 303 people across the 132 Christian Brother run schools
Spiritians 329 allegations recorded against 61 alleged abusers across 6 of its schools.
294 allegations against 97 people in the three schools run by the Brothers of Charity.
Jesuits had 142 allegations against 34 individuals across 9 schools
Hospitaller Order of St John of God recorded 144 against 36 alleged abusers across its 7 schools.
100 allegations made against 14 individuals in two schools run by the Carmelite Fathers (Ocarm)
De La Salle Brothers recorded 84 allegations against 46 people across 29 of the schools it ran.
Congregation of Dominican Sisters Cabra had 69 allegations against 50 alleged abusers across 4 schools.
Congregation of the Sisters of Mercy recorded 44 against 33 alleged abusers across 18 schools.
