Estimated cost of riots in 'tens of millions of euro' - Varadkar

The Taoiseach has said the estimated cost of last night's rioting in Dublin is in the tens of millions of euro.

Leo Varadkar said that help would be offered to affected businesses, but this would depend on the level of insurance they have.

Speaking at a British-Irish Council meeting, Mr Varadkar said that Dublin was safe for shoppers today and while some shops were closed, there were additional gardaí on the streets.
