PAC session 'only raises more questions'

Delivering of opening statements to the committee has been brushed over, as it is agreed that they were already read into the record this morning.

To start, Fianna Fáil TD Christopher O'Sullivan offers his thanks to Mr Tubridy and Mr Kelly for coming in on their own accord, however he says: "If anything, the PAC session has only raised further questions".

"People are very sceptical and have serious doubts over whether you knowingly concealed the fact that these payments were coming from RTÉ," he says.

He asks Mr Kelly if he is aware of any practice in accounting that allows for an invoice to be raised with a description that it's not actually for?

Mr Kelly says they were "acting on instruction at all times".
