Noel Kelly told the committee that Renault "never stepped back from the arrangement. Renault are still the sponsor".

James O'Connor noted that Ryan Tubridy was paid in advance for these events.

Mr Tubridy is "still under contract to do those roadshows", Mr Kelly said, as "Covid happened".

"I probably should have been a bit more inquisitive", Mr Tubridy said.
