Boris Johnson won't be resigning and he will be returning to the UK overnight. A No 10 source told PA: "The PM will not resign following the judgment.

"Following the PM giving his speech at the UN this evening he will be flying back overnight to the UK and there will be a Cabinet call today while the PM is in New York." 

The source added that Mr Johnson will be back in London at around 11am tomorrow. 

Parliament is due to resume at 11.30am.
