Support for Fianna Fáil rises, poll suggests

A new opinion poll suggests that support for Fianna Fáil has risen two percentage points.

The Business Post/Red C survey puts the party on 17%, up two points versus the same poll four weeks ago.

However, Sinn Féin remains the most popular party with its support down one percentage point to 23%.

Fine Gael is unchanged on 18%.

The survey suggests support for independents is the same at 13% while the Social Democrats is down one point to 9%.

Labour and Aontú are both unchanged at 5%, while Independent Ireland is unchanged on 4%.

Support for the Green Party rose one percentage point to 3%, while People Before Profit Solidarity was unchanged on 3%.

The poll was carried out between 13 and 19 February with an online survey of 1,010 adults.

The margin of error is plus or minus 3%.
