People Before Profit-Solidarity have three TDs in the 34th Dáil

Members of People Before Profit-Solidarity are gathering in Dublin this morning to discuss their political priorities for the new Dáil term, which begins on Wednesday.

Themes that will be discussed include the problems facing scoliosis sufferers and the disability sector and the conference is set to hear from Stephen Morrision, father of the late Harvey Morrison Sherrat.

Attendees will also hear from experts on militarisation and activists from the Palestinian solidarity movement.

Deputy Ruth Coppinger will address the gathering as will TD Paul Murphy, who has just returned home after spending some time with the Global Sumud Flotilla that is sailing towards Gaza.
