Intermittent power outages impacted Dáil, Seanad and Oireachtas committee hearings this morning.

Power was lost in the area around Leinster House just after 10am.

Lights in the Dáil chamber went out, although the sitting continued in daylight that enters the chamber from above.

Committee hearings in the committee rooms in the basement of the adjoining LH 2000 office building were adjourned for around ten minutes.

Generators in the Leinster House complex were used to power the buildings.

However, other buildings in the area remained without power.
