Increase in support for Sinn Féin and Fine Gael, poll suggests

There has been an increase in support for both Sinn Féin and Fine Gael, the latest RED C opinion poll for the Business Post suggests.

The survey of voters also indicates a drop in support for Fianna Fáil.

The online poll of 1,055 adults over a week up to last Wednesday puts Sinn Féin on 24% support, which is an increase of 2 percentage points.

Fianna Fáil, on the other hand, has dropped 2 points and now stands at 20%.

Meanwhile, Fine Gael is on 19% - up 2 points.

The Social Democrats are unchanged at 7%.

Aontú is up 1 point at 5%.

Independent Ireland is also up 1 point to 5%.

Labour is down 1 point to 3%.

The Green Party is unchanged at 3%.

People Before Profit-Solidarity is also unchanged at 3%.

Independents are down 3 points to 10%.

Other parties stand at 1%.

The margin of error is plus or minus 3%.
