Taoiseach Micheál Martin has announced the names of the eight Fianna Fáil TDs who are to chair Oireachtas committees.
Two weeks ago, the committees were belatedly allocated to political parties and groups, after the process was stalled for over four months over disagreements triggered by the Dáil speaking row.
The committees, which are essential to both the formulation and the passing of legislation, are taking shape, but it could be weeks before they are fully up and running.
Laois TD Seán Fleming is to chair the Committee on Infrastructure and National Development Plan Delivery, while Dún Laoghaire Deputy Cormac Devlin will oversee the Good Friday Agreement committee.
John Lahart, TD for Dublin South-West, will be chair of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and Trade and Clare Deputy Cathal Crowe will head up the Education and Youth committee.
Cork TDs Aindrias Moynihan and James O'Connor will chair the Agriculture and Food, and Enterprise, Tourism and Employment committees respectively.
Louth Deputy Erin McGreehan will lead the Committee on Further & Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science and Wicklow-Wexford representative Malcolm Byrne is to chair the Artificial Intelligence committee.
Asked about the gender balance of the nominations, the Taoiseach said that "every woman elected to the Fianna Fáil parliamentary party has secured a position which they have sought, in terms of either senior ministers, ministers of state, committee chair or other positions that would have been sought".

Meanwhile, Tánaiste Simon Harris has announced the names of the seven Fine Gael members who will chair committees.

Mr Hayes was indefinitely suspended by the party in December after contradictory statements about when he had sold shares in a company that supplies artificial intelligence tools to the Israeli military.
Social Democrats Dublin Central TD Gary Gannon will oversee the Drug Use committee while Cork South Central Deputy Pádraig Rice will chair the Committee on Health.
Independent TD Catherine Connolly is to oversee Irish Language committee.
The Independent Technical Group will chair the Committee on Budgetary Oversight while the Regional Independent TDs are not seeking a committee chair position.
