Support increases for Fine Gael while Fianna Fáil down, poll suggests

Support for Fine Gael has increased while support for Fianna Fáil is down, the latest Sunday Independent/Ireland Thinks opinion poll suggests.

The survey puts both Government parties on 22%.

Fine Gael is up by two points, while Fianna Fáil is down two on last month.

Sinn Féin lies in third place - down one point, at 21%.

The Social Democrats are on 7%, which is down one point.

Support for Independent Ireland is up one, to stand at 5%.

The Labour Party is unchanged at 4%, whereas Aontú is down one point - at 3%.

The Green Party is also down one point, placing it on 2%.

People Before Profit is on 2% - unchanged.

Independents and others are on 11% - up two points.

Conducted yesterday and today, 1,373 voters participated in this online poll.

The margin of error is plus or minus 2.7%.
