In the Seanad election, the 11 seats of the Agricultural Panel have been filled.

Those deemed to be elected on the Agricultural Panel are: Malcolm Noonan (Green); Joanne Collins (Sinn Féin); Victor Boyhan (Independent); Paul Daly (Fianna Fáil); Niall Blaney (Fianna Fáil); Teresa Costello (Fianna Fáil); Eileen Lynch (Fine Gael); Sarah O'Reilly (Aontú); Paraic Brady (Fine Gael); Maria Byrne (Fine Gael) and P.J. Murphy (Fine Gael).

A senator who failed to be returned was Tim Lombard, who stood for Fine Gael in the Cork South West constituency in the General Election.

The five seats on the Cultural and Educational panel have already been filled.

Sinn Féin's Pauline Tully topped the poll and was followed by Fine Gael's Cathal Byrne and Sean Kyne, Fianna Fáil's Shane Curley and Independent Joe Conway - who just edged out Fianna Fáil senator Lorraine Clifford Lee.

Other vocational panels to be counted this weekend include Administrative, Labour, and Industrial and Commercial.

In all, 49 Seanad seats are voted on across the constituencies and panels.

Another 11 seats will be filled by Taoiseach nominations once all other seats are filled.

Both university constituencies - the Dublin University/Trinity College constituency and the National University of Ireland constituency - have been concluded.

NUI's three seats have been taken by incumbent Independents Michael McDowell, Rónán Mullen and Alice Mary Higgins.

Meanwhile, the Dublin University/Trinity College constituency's three seats have also been filled by incumbent Independents Lynn Ruane and Tom Clonan, and Independent Aubrey McCarthy, who overcame Green Party candidate Hazel Chu in a closely fought battle.
