Tribunal trouble, coalition options and Seanad elections

It's all go, if a bit slow.

As efforts to cobble together an administration rumble along, and with no full, formal sit-down having yet been held with the Regional Independents, Independent Ireland enter the fray.

Will they beat the 22 January deadline, or is after St Brigid's Day more likely?

And don't forget the Seanad elections. The Greens - down to a solitary TD - are watching nervously.
